Vacancy available: horticulturist (Ohio)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horticulturist in Darke County, Ohio. You will be based on a golf course. On the job you will handle: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds What we are looking for: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Full-time with occasional weekends.
