Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Ebonyi, Ebonyi State. The job is on a pipeline and trenching crew. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Your main tasks: • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up Full-time, day shift.
