Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. You will work at a renovation and extension job. On a typical shift you will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. Ideally you have able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks; proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks; reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets. ₹39,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
