Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turner in Jefferson County, Kentucky. The job is in a job-work machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Six days a week, one day off.
