D6/D8 dozer operator • Scott County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Scott County, Iowa. You will be based at an open-cast mine. You should have: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections The role involves rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction.
