Framing carpenter — Polk County

Join our team: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Polk County, Texas. On a typical shift you will assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Own basic hand tools Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
