Vacancy available: we are hiring a halal butcher in Ika South, Delta State. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Day to day you will keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
