Canteen cook wanted in Shawnee County

Join our team: we are hiring a canteen cook in Shawnee County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off.
