Port container crane operator — Adams County

Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Adams County, Nebraska. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. On the job you will handle: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
