Earthmoving equipment operator • Ukwa West, Abia State

We are recruiting: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Ukwa West, Abia State. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Day-to-day duties: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily 5+ years on the tools preferred.
