We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Anglesey, Wales. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day-to-day duties: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 4+ years on the tools preferred.
