We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Limestone County, Alabama. The role involves change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; write and edit G-code programs at the control; load and index turning tools in the turret; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges 6+ years on the tools preferred.
