Meat cutter — Sanpete County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat cutter in Sanpete County, Utah. Your main tasks: • Season and marinate meat on request • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Full-time, day shift.
