Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Jasper County, Georgia. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Day-to-day duties: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
