Laundry presser wanted in Snohomish County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a laundry presser in Snohomish County, Washington. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine On the job you will handle: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Give each garment a final press before packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
