Press operator wanted in Lorain County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press operator in Lorain County, Ohio. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards On the job you will handle: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
