Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Bichi, Kano State. Day-to-day duties: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Rotating shifts.
