Foundry labourer — Isa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Isa, Sokoto State. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. Day to day you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Pay around ₦290,000 per month, based on your experience.
