We are recruiting: we are hiring an escalator technician in Okigwe, Imo State. You will be based at a busy lift company. On a typical shift you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Six days a week, one day off.
