Now hiring: we are hiring a dozer operator in Bichi, Kano State. Requirements: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Your main tasks: • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving ₦12,000 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
