Vacancy available: we are hiring a cabinet maker in Ottawa County, Michigan. Requirements: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists The role involves: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
