Ideal candidate: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Day to day you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence.
