We are recruiting: steel erection rigger (Ohio)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Preble County, Ohio. Your main tasks: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
