Urgent requirement: steel erection rigger (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Trafford, England. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Part-time with flexible hours.
