Immediate opening: we are hiring a catering cook in Harney County, Oregon. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations You should have: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
