Join our team: we are hiring a HGV driver in Goalpara, Assam. The role involves present documents at weighbridges and check posts; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits. What we are looking for: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around ₹100 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
