Shuttering fixer wanted in Patrick County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Patrick County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
