Urgent requirement: we are hiring a short order cook in McHenry County, Illinois. The job is at a roadside dhaba. Day to day you will label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Rotating shifts.
