Brickwork mason — Etche

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Etche, Rivers State. You will work on a busy housing site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Your main tasks: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
