Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Sonitpur, Assam. You will work at an automobile body shop. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves grind back and re-weld any defective runs; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc.
