Core maker — Ector County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Ector County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
