Now hiring: we are hiring a presser in Warwickshire, England. You will work in a garment export house. You will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
