Core maker wanted in Isin

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Isin, Kwara State. You will work at a busy iron foundry. The role involves melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
