Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Mushin, Lagos State. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day The role involves mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays.
