Confectioner wanted in Taylor County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Taylor County, Florida. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. What we are looking for: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen The role involves shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; score the top of loaves before baking; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
