What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal.
