Machine operator (earthworks) — Milton Keynes

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Milton Keynes, England. The job is in an open-cast quarry. Your main tasks: • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
