Line cook — Jefferson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a line cook in Jefferson County, Oregon. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. You should have: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards The role involves: • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift Pay around $200 per day, based on your experience.
