Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat cutter in Meade County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate The role involves: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
