Vacancy available: solid plasterer (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Blanco County, Texas. The job is at a new-build housing development. On a typical shift you will check walls for plumb and level as you go; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
