Now hiring: we are hiring a cake decorator in Bond County, Illinois. The job is at a cake shop. You will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; score the top of loaves before baking. You should have: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving 1+ years on the tools preferred.
