Gas service engineer • Owerri West, Imo State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Owerri West, Imo State. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. What we are looking for: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Day-to-day duties: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
