Immediate opening: site carpenter (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site carpenter in Buchanan County, Virginia. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. Day-to-day duties: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish Ideal candidate: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Own basic hand tools Rotating shifts.
