The role involves: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Part-time with flexible hours.
