Great opportunity: we are hiring a head butcher in Bongaigaon, Assam. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. On a typical shift you will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. We are looking for knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required; 2+ years experience working as a butcher.
