Port container crane operator wanted in Clark County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Clark County, Illinois. The role involves: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Understanding of hand and radio signals Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
