Canteen cook • Dutsi, Katsina State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a canteen cook in Dutsi, Katsina State. On the job you will handle: • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
