Formwork carpenter • Maradun, Zamfara State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Maradun, Zamfara State. You will work at a shopfitting company. Requirements: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Own basic hand tools Day-to-day duties: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
