Rigger wanted in Tsafe

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigger in Tsafe, Zamfara State. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
