Now hiring: we are hiring a dozer operator in Etche, Rivers State. The job is on a dam or embankment job. You will operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; refuel the machine and record running hours; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle. You should have: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
